Meet the Directors:
- Mr. Jim Yance is a member of the University’s Board of Trustees, where he serves as Vice Chairman. Mr. Yance has served on the Foundation Board since 2007, and for eight years in the 1980s. He is an alumnus of USA and an attorney. He and his wife, Frances, make their home in Loxley, Alabama.
- Mrs. Ellen F. Green, a native of Sumter County, Alabama, has served on the Board since 2007. With her late husband, Mr. Aubrey D. Green, who served as President of the Foundation Board and was an original trustee of the University, she watched the Foundation and University grow and develop, and now continues her service on the Board. Mrs. Green resides in York, Alabama.
- Mr. Al Johnson has served on the Foundation Board since 2008. He is a commercial banker and Vice President with Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company, in Mobile, and is active in many civic organizations. He and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Allen Johnson, a local pediatrician, reside in Mobile, Alabama.
